    Delivered two Lotus Expeditor toolkit releases with defects brought to near zero, then led the Webcontainer worldwide, solved two critical severity 1 customer defects and took open severity 1 and 2 defects to zero.

    My availability invention was approved for filing in 2010, earned IBM's CEO-signed invention award, and was granted as US 8,560,487, since cited by 27 patents; later I ran invention-mining sessions that gave my team 3 more disclosures.

What I took from it

IBM is where I learned to build. I owned a component that customers depended on worldwide, filed my first patent, and ran hackdays across India that turned ideas into working software. I learned that the work around the job, the events, talks and inventions, compounds as much as the job itself. I still believe the fastest way to grow is to own something end to end and invite others in.
