Owned components of an IBM client platform through two releases
I became component owner for the Lotus Expeditor toolkit and drove two releases out with the defect count brought close to zero.

What would have happened
Toolkit releases would have shipped carrying open defects and without a clear owner for their components.

Own the components end to end: requirements, features, fixes, docs and forum support.
What I did
Implemented features, fixed defects, wrote tests and documentation, and answered customer questions in internal and external forums.
What changed
Delivered toolkit v6.2.1 and v6.2.2 with the defect count at virtually zero, and led parts of v6.2.3.
