Set the risk-evaluation contract that 6 teams adopted unchanged

I designed the generic document that carries context into a fraud-evaluation platform's risk API, won approval from senior and principal engineers, and wrote the onboarding guides that let 6 client teams adopt it with no change to its structure.

schema changes since launch

What would have happened

Each new client would have needed its own payload, and the platform's contract would have split.

The call

Make one generic contract that fits many clients and use cases, and take it through senior design review before building.

What I did

Wrote the use case, prototype and design, got it approved by senior and principal engineers, presented the API to the director, and built the model and client handler.

What changed

The first version of the API launched on it, and 6 clients onboarded with little developer effort and no structural change.

Proof

The original documents are held in my private record and can be shared on request.
