Led the fraud check for the Amazon Pay India launch
I conceived and led the one-account-per-customer fraud check for the Amazon Pay wallet launch in India, from requirements to onboarding, and built it for 1,150 TPS against a 20 TPS requirement.

What would have happened
The wallet would have launched without a guard against one person opening many accounts to abuse offers.
The call
Size the check for launch-promotion peaks and abuse traffic, well past the 20 TPS we were asked for.
What I did
Owned requirements, design, stakeholder communication, code reviews and onboarding for a four-engineer effort, and set up joint integration tests with the partner team.
What changed
Launched on 14 Apr 2017 at 1,150 TPS; the end-to-end test suspended the fraudulent test accounts with the right reason codes, and the fraud and risk director thanked the team.
