Led a company-wide software craftsmanship report on 138 projects
As lead author of the State of Software Craftsmanship 2023 report, I led the analysis of data from 138 projects, about 80% of the software community, and linked low practice maturity to a higher chance of product faults.

What I did
Led the analysis and writing with co-authors from the Software Excellence team and turned the findings into recommendations for leaders and practitioners.
What changed
The report was published company-wide and praised publicly by the head of software excellence. It showed that about a third of teams did not use gates to enforce quality.
