Moved to company-wide software excellence to lead technical debt reduction
In July 2019 I left the architect role on one product for the Software Center of Excellence, taking on cross-functional leadership across every Philips business, with a remit to lead initiatives such as technical debt reduction.

Stepped into company-wide software excellence leadership as competency specialist, announced to the whole campus, and directed cross-functional initiatives across businesses.
What changed
It started the programs I went on to lead: duplication detection, code-craft assessments, the bar-raiser program and outreach across 100+ teams.
