Proving standard enrollment messaging end to end

I led the proof of concept for sending standard 834 enrollment transactions through an EDI integration platform and demonstrated it to the product and partner teams. A week later, files were processing end to end.

834

standard enrollment transactions

processed end to end

1 week

from demo to full end-to-end processing

What would have happened

Enrollment data to insurers depended on a path that had not been proven with the integration platform.

The call

Prove the integration on real transactions within a fixed time box before committing to it.

What I did

Ran the work with the India engineers and demonstrated it live. When integration issues hit, I flagged the delay early and proposed a short-term approach that the US product lead agreed to.

What changed

Files processed end to end, with only a batch job and a file transfer left manual. My review credited me with delivering the work within its time box.

Proof

The original documents are held in my private record and can be shared on request.

What people said

“So some good news: we're fully processing files end to end now.”
